The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is a good example for me of the wild fluctuations in the valuation of video games. I bought this game back in June of 2022 on the app Mercari. Check out Mercari if you haven’t, you can find some good stuff on their service sometimes. Around that time (as you can see from the Pricecharting chart below), the game was valued around $90 with the manual being an additional $30 or so. So, from those numbers, you can see at $120 I paid about what the going price was for the game and the manual approximately 2 years ago.
